I Heart Daily Books of 2011 Contest: Open for Voting!

The holidays are right around the corner. Did you remember to get something for your fellow Figs? To them, the most priceless present you could bestow isn’t a My Little Pony Princess or a framed photo of Justin Bieber—it’s a heart. (Which, lucky you, is totally free.)

The I Heart Daily Books of 2011 Contest, which is being judged by Melissa Walker—author of Small Town Sinners, and co-editor, with Anne Ichikawa, of I Heart Daily—is now open for voting. So in the spirit of the holidays, give your favorite entries a big heart (and maybe a smooch) between now and midnight on Friday, December 23. You could help a Fig win a Kindle Touch preloaded with 10 of the best books of 2011, as selected by I Heart Daily and Figment! Those books include:

Divergent by Veronica Roth
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
The Girl in the Steel Corset  by Kady Cross
Geek Girls Unite by Leslie Simon
Small Town Sinners by Melissa Walker
Crush: 26 Real Life Tales of True Love (anthology)

You’re bound to pick up some great holiday reading recs in the process. Stay tuned for the four other great reads that will be preloaded onto the Kindle Touch, and don’t forget to vote!

UPDATE: As if those six books aren’t enough, the grand-prize winner will ALSO snag Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, by Morgan Matson; What to Wear, Where, by Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power; Goliath, by Scott Westerfeld; and Across the Universe by Beth Revis!
