Could You Survive Regency England?

We’d love to dive into Regency England and start swimming, but we’re afraid we’d need some floaties: the early 1800s was a time defined by verrry strict social cues (and, of course, pretty dresses and balls and noblemen). In Shannon Hale’s Midnight in Austenland, which you can start reading on Figment, mega-Austen fan Charlotte Kinder thrusts herself into a Regency world when she takes a vacation to Pembrook Park, a manor that recreates all of the intricacies, as well as the many to-don’ts, of a Jane Austen novel. That got us thinking–would we sink or swim in this social minefield? And how well would you survive? Test yourself with our quiz below. But be warned, you’ve got some competition: Shannon scored in the top tier.
