Julianna Baggott’s Many Pen Names

Everyone loves a good pen name. Lemony Snicket. Lewis Carroll. Dr. Seuss. Mark Twain. Bridget Asher. N.E. Bode.

Didn’t recognize those last two? Well you should have! They’re the names under which the fabulous Julianna Baggott, author of Pure (which you can begin reading on Figment), wrote some of her first novels. In honor of her quirky aliases (N.E. Bode…seewhatshedidthere?), we’re playing a wee little Twitter game.

Today (2/10), from 3:00 p.m. EST to 5:00 p.m. EST, we’ll tweet out famous authors’ “pen names” (anagrams of their real names) and you have to give us the real name behind the pen name. If you tweet a response that includes the hashtag #purepenname, you’ll be entered to win a copy of Julianna Baggott’s Pure.

One winner will be randomly chosen. For full rules, please refer to our promotion guidelines.
