Look out your window tonight and you might see it. Remember, it’s the second star to the right, and straight on ’till morning: it’s Neverland.
Peter Pan fans, rejoice! A new play based on Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s novel, Peter and The Starcatchers, is coming to Broadway. The play tells the story of Peter Pan—back when he was just a miserable orphan on the ship the H.M.S. Neverland, and hadn’t yet become the Boy Who Never Grew Up. (The show also features a mustached pirate who we suspect would look a lot better with a hook for a hand . . . ) When Peter ran off-Broadway last spring, the New York Times called it “the most enthralling shipwreck” since the movie Titantic.
