Vote in the Perception Contest!

Tons of talented Figs have entered The Perception Contest, in which we asked you to write a story that includes a character who can see or hear things that no one else can. The contest is inspired by Clare Fern, the psychic protagonist of Perception, by Kim Harrington, which you can begin reading for a limited time on Figment here. In Perception, Clare–somewhat reluctantly at first–uses her sixth sense to help her solve mysteries.

The entry period has ended, but there’s still a week of voting ahead. So get reading, Figs! You’re deciding the 10 finalists for this contest; the top 10 most-hearted entries will be sent to Kim Harrington herself for judging.

The first-place winner will receive a copy of Claritya copy of Perceptionand a $20 Amazon gift card. The second-place winner will receive a copy of Clarity, a copy of Perception and a set of Fortune-Telling Fish. The third-place winner will receive a copy of Perception and a Figment tote.

  1. Oh my god!

The girl on the cover looks like a girl that used to go to my school! She looks just like Emma! Weird…. Wonder if it is.

  2. I wrote a story for this contest maybe a week ago and today I went to look for it in the voting section and couldn’t find it. So I went back to my account and it says that there is 0 words. I didn’t notice this earlier because I can see the words and when I searched for it in the library I couldn’t find it. The story is title “Death Omen.” is there someone I can talk to about this?
