I Hunt Killers Flash Fiction Contest Winners!

Back in April, we challenged you to write a new piece of fiction every day for a week inspired by Barry Lyga‘s I Hunt Killers. In 24 hours and fewer than 100 words, we challenged you to write about murder, blood, guts, and gore. From the discovery of the body right through to the press conference informing the public, our prompts led you through a thrilling murder investigation. Bloody murder weapons, fingerprints, tough cops, and brilliant detectives all featured prominently–and we loved every second of it!

Each day, we chose one winner and two runners-up to receive some great prizes. All winners will be receiving copies of I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga, 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad, and The Drowned Cities by Paolo Bacigalupi. In addition, the author of each day’s best entry will win an “I Had a Killer Time with Barry Lyga” t-shirt.
