For Juliette, of Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me, things aren’t exactly going well. She’s been trapped in a cell for nearly a year. The authoritarian government that runs her life wants to use her as a weapon. She’s imprisoned with the boy who may be the love of her life, which would be great . . . if her touch wasn’t lethal. Inspired by Juliette’s fatal touch, we challenged you to write a story in which someone’s touch causes an unexpected reaction.
You wrote, voted, and the Figment editors chose the following winners. Check out the winning stories, and congratulate your fellow Figs!
