Your Story on the Figment Homepage

We love your stories. We love the stories you love. We want to share the stories you love on Figment’s homepage!

Until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 24, you can post a link to your favorite Figment stories on our Facebook page. Every link you post counts as one vote. You can post links for as many stories as you like, but you can only post (or vote) once per story. The five stories with the most posts will be featured on Figment’s homepage. In case of a tie, the winner will be decided by Figment editorial team.

No stories that are currently entered in contests may be used, but old contest entries are allowed. All Figment users are welcome to participate. Please read the full promotional guidelines.

  1. I’m currently hosting a contest, but not an “official” one. Some people have posted beautiful work, and I’d like to share it. I was wondering if I can’t post that because it’s in a contest, but not one created by a Figment Moderator. Thank you. 😀

  2. Greeting’s Figment, I was wondering how could I have my Fan Fiction book, The Dark Empress posted on the front page? I know you gotta pick through holiday’s and ect. but how can I get that book to get more views?

  3. I am not Facebook-savvy, nor am I interested in being so… but I do want to recommend a story. 🙂

Do I simply post the link on the main Figment Facebook page/wall? I would have thought that the page would get awfully full if everyone did that.

    • Yup! Just post to the wall. The main page is just stuff we post, so people have to choose to look at all the posts. Clutter be gone!

  4. WHY FIGMENT? WHY? NOW MY PROFILE IS DOOMED TO BE FLOODED BY IDIOTS BEGGING FOR ME TO VOTE FOR THEIR STORIES! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! (A bit of melodrama is good for the soul).

    • Hey-
All links posted to Figment’s wall were valid entries. If you head to our Facebook page and set the wall filter to “posts by others” (which is right under the “about us” and number of likes), you can see the hundreds of links that people posted in support of their favorite stories!

      • Ah ha! That “posts by others” thing throws me. I love the new FB timeline, but I wish it still showed some things the way it used to.

I’m sorry if you thought I was being accusatory. I can assure you I was not doubting the validity, just figured there was something I was missing. (Obviously, I was.)

        • Not at all! Timeline definitely comes with a learning curve. Glad you figured it out! Let me know if I can help with anything else.

          Best,
          Emily

  5. Figment,
I didn’t get to see who got featured, do you have a list or photo of the homepage? Thanks.

Or if anyone else has one please let me know!
