Happy Birthday to Books 8/19 to 8/25

August is the perfect month to hangout and read a really good book and we’ve rounded up some brand new ones!

The Rise of Nine (Lorien Legacies Series #3) by Pittacus Lore (August 21, 2012, HarperCollins)
The Rise of Nine is action packed, thrilling, and edge of your seat good. Finally things start falling in place for the Lorien. They are finding more of their own and starting to understand their legacies. . . . The Rise of Nine surpassed my expectations and now I’m impatiently waiting for the next book to hear the rest of their adventure. —Lisa, Goodreads

The Last Apprentice: Lure of the Dead  by Joseph Delaney and Patrick Arrasmith (August 21, 2012, HarperCollins)
This was another gem in the Spook’s Apprentice series, and just as good as all previous books. It is getting nearer to the end, and you can sense the end coming while reading the book. There are a few twists in this story that had me reaching for the tissues, but I loved them all. —Edel, Goodreads

Over You by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus (August 21, 2012, HarperCollins)

It was such a wonderfully written story full of friendship, self-discovery, heartbreak, and love. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys young adult contemporary’s that will pull and tug at your heart the way this one did mine. —Suz, Goodreads

The Sweetest Spell by Suzanne Selfors
(August 21, 2012, Walker & Company)
A beautifully woven and highly unique story! Emmeline was easy to connect to and root for! There was just enough mystery to keep readers turning the pages and the romance was sweet and innocent but a great one just the same! —Cami, My Reading Addiction
