Finalists in the Justine Magazine Contest

Figment and Justine Magazine

This summer, Figment and Justine Magazine challenged you to write a short story modernizing any classic work of literature. A few weeks ago, we announced the semifinalists. Now we’re thrilled to announce the 5 finalists, as selected by the Justine editorial team! Here they are, in no particular order:

Language of Love and Water by OvercomingDyslexic

The Sorority Code by Hana Lee

The Good Guy by Cassie Rose

Death of Me by ☀Asher the Hypernova

Amanda Hocking author of Wake

Amanda Hocking (author of the new novel Wake) will be choosing one grand-prize winner to receive an awesome e-book reader—and become a published author when her story appears in Justine Magazine in the October/November 2012 issue. Two runners-up will also be featured in the issue and will receive a backpack filled with the latest YA books!

  2. yay, what a relief it is to be no longer concerned about this contest. A month later and I still havent fully recovered from the way it had sucked the life out of me.
CONGRATULATIONS to the five! Most of them, I predicted would be up there
