Personal Effects Flash-Fiction Contest

Personal Effects by E.M. Kokie is the story of Matt Foster, a 17-year-old boy struggling to make sense of his brother’s death. Matt believes that if he can just get T.J.’s personal effects from Iraq, he could come to terms with things. But going through his brother’s stuff only leads to more questions. And Matt will stop at nothing to find the answers.
