In Lara Avery’s debut novel, Anything But Ordinary, Bryce Graham seems to have it all: talent, good looks, amazing friends and family. But everything changes when a tragic accident during the Olympic diving trial leaves Bryce into a coma. Five years later, Bryce awakens—and finds life as she knew it is completely different. Life has moved on without her. As she struggles to adjust to her new life, she recognizes she has changed as well.
Inspired by Bryce’s life-altering experience, we asked you to write a story about someone who wakes up after spending years in a coma. You wrote and voted on the entries—and here are the finalists, which will be sent to Lara Avery for judging!
