Hysteria by Megan Miranda

After Mallory kills her boyfriend in self-defense, her parents ship her off to boarding school in New Hampshire. She might be far from home, but she’s still haunted by her past.

Inspired by Hysteriaby Megan Miranda, we challenged you to write a story about a character who’s running from their past. You wrote and voted, and we’re now pleased to announce the finalists that will be sent to Megan Miranda for judging.

The grand-prize winner will also receive a $15 Amazon gift card and the chance to choose the Figment homepage stories for one day.
