It’s All Greek to Me: A Flash-Fiction Contest—Day 4

The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee CarterKate’s best friend, James, has always been there for her, but he’s also been a thorn in her relationship with Henry. James’s unrequited love for Kate has complicated her life, but she’s always counted on him as a friend. Now, as the fate of all of humanity hangs in the balance, will James, commonly known as Hermes, be as solid as Kate has always believed him to be, or will he return to his trickster ways?
