Happy Friday, everyone! And welcome to the second to last day of our countdown! Tomorrow is the big day: The new episode of Doctor Who, “The Bells of St. John” airs!

With just two days left, we’ve reached our first runner-up, the second best place the Doctor has ever visited. Did you missed stops #3 through #10? You can check them out hereherehere, here, and here! And be sure to check back tomorrow for the #1 locale!

#2: Platform One

as seen in: The End of the World

The End of the World, Doctor Who

It’s actually pretty awesome that one of the first-ever episodes of the rebooted Doctor Who takes place at the end of the world. And the idea of Platform One is totally crazy. Basically, it’s like a huge observation deck where the richest and most influential beings in the universe gather to watch the sun explode. We loved seeing what the universe has become by the year five billion, and Platform One was the perfect place to show that. And seriously, only this series would start off its brand-new season by destroying planet Earth.

Where would you most like to travel with the Doctor? Let us know in the comments!
