You get to invite three authors to dinner. Who do you choose and why?
If I had the choice I’d invite Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, and Ellen Hopkins because I enjoy their writing so much. Their writing always makes me cry, feel jealous, or just astonishes me in every way. I’d ask them about their muses, get juicy details on an up-and-coming books, and simply spend time some of my favorite female authors.
Which mythical creature would you most like to have as a pet and why?
I’d like to have a dragon because most girls want a frilly unicorn or some kind of underwater pet that’s adorable. I’m not like most girls and I can’t swim so I think a dragon is fitting for me. He’d be the best bodyguard and great during cold winters. Also he’d just be the cutest thing to look at. If my dragon could resemble Charizard but blue, I’d be ecstatic.
Which literary character are you most like and why?
I like to think of myself as a Katniss Everdeen and Hermione Granger mix because I’m smart and adventurous.
If you could get fist-bumped by one famous writer, who would it be?
Stephen King! He has to be one of the greatest horror authors alive and although I get scared pretty easily I’d still love a fist-bump from a legend such as him. I’ve read a large number of his books and greatly enjoy his writing.
Do you have a favorite word? A least favorite word?
My favorite word is flabbergasted—it just sounds very dramatic. My least favorite word is impossible—because nothing is.
