Vote in the If You Find Me Short-Story Contest

If You Find Me by Emily MurdochCarey doesn’t remember much of life before she began living in the woods with her mother and her younger sister, Jenessa. But, when Carey’s father finds the girls living alone (abandoned by their mother), he takes them to live with him and his family. As Carey tries to adjust to her new life (with all the good and bad), she struggles to find her place.

Inspired by If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch, we challenged you to write a story about someone who feels like a fish out of water. The entry period for this contest has closed, but you still have a chance to help choose the ten finalists that will be read and judged by the Figment editors.

Voting will run until Monday, April 15 at 5:00 p.m. ET, so start hearting, Figgies!

One grand-prize winner will receive a signed copy of If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch, along with copies of Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, The Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams, This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers, and Born At Midnight by C.C.
