Ben and Maggie have lived the same two days over and over countless times. They’re caught in a time loop in which they meet, fall in love, and die. Each time they start over, they get just a little bit smarter, they remember a little more from the last loop, and they get a little closer to escaping Roy, the man responsible for their murders. Unfortunately, they’re not entirely sure it’s really possible to change their destiny.
In 150 words or fewer, write a scene in which your main character is trying to escape from a villian. Tag your story EscapeFlash. The entry period closes on Monday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
The Figment editors will be reading all of the entries. Five winners will each receive a copy of The Loop by Shandy Lawson and the winning stories will be featured on the Figment homepage.
