The Sweetest Dark Weekend Flash Contest Finalists!

Lora Jones doesn’t know anything about her past. When she was little, she was found wandering the streets of London and sent to Blisshaven Foundling Home. Lora seemed like any other orphan until she’s transferred to Iverson boarding school. It at Iverson that Lora meets two young men who will help her understand the hidden magical power within her.

Inspired by The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abé, we challenged you to write a story about an orphan. You wrote heartfelt entries and we are now pleased to announce the ten finalists that will be sent to Shana for judging!

Check out the finalists below and be sure to wish your fellow Figs good luck in the judging process!
