  1. Fantasy, hell yeah!

“You live in a fantasy world that youโ€™ve carefully crafted with your vivid imagination. Youโ€™re drawn to the works of George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien.”

Although I’m not drawn to George R.R. Martin particularly, fantasy is my life.

  2. Fantasy!

You live in a fantasy world that youโ€™ve carefully crafted with your vivid imagination. Youโ€™re drawn to the works of George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien

  3. Your Result:

    Science Fiction
Spaceships. Robots. Intergalactic travel. You canโ€™t get enough of books by Scott Westerfeld and Veronica Roth.
not really my thing, but ok…

  4. โ€œYou live in a fantasy world that youโ€™ve carefully crafted with your vivid imagination. Youโ€™re drawn to the works of George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien.โ€
It’s like they know me. Seriously. LotR is my favorite series and I’m in the middle of GoT. Fantasy is also pretty much the only thing I write.

  5. FANTASY for the win! LOL Fantasy is the majority of what I write to begin with *grins* Pretty accurate, Figment!

  6. Romance ๐Ÿ˜€ wouldnt ya know, its what I already write haha, I wrote 6 thousand words yesterday in about 5 and a half hours.

  7. Romance
Swoon. You love love and seek out novels with a great romances. You devour novels by Katie McGarry and Nicholas Sparks.

  8. Fantasy, eh? Only problem is it feels like *my* stories are never as spectacular as every other fantasist’s writing… :-\

  9. Fantasy

  10. Completely wrong. Took this twice, with different answers and got Romanticism…I like mysterys, horror, detective, police, law…that kind of stuff….

  11. I got contemporary? Wow. That was a little unexpected. Contemporary…really isn’t my thing. Look through my bookshelves and you’ll see almost exclusively fantasy and sci-fi…

Changed one answer (from Serious to Inquisitive, as I could honestly go both ways) and got sci-fi. That’s more like it!

…and changing a couple other answers I was indecisive on (Monsters U to Pacific Rim, Tumblr to YouTube) got me Fantasy and Comedy, respectively. Guess I’m just either a mix of genres or a boring person, haha. I’m just I didn’t get Romance.

  12. Romance? How did I get romance? I mean, I know that this 3-man collaboration series has been easy for me to get into, but I didn’t think that would be my niche considering I prefer writing superhero novels.

  13. I took this three times, each changing twi particular questions I wasn’t sure about. I got fantasy twice and romance the last time. I think if they combined the two, I would have my ideal genre.

  14. What? Romance? I’m as romantic as a glass of water. I don’t read it and I definitely don’t write it.
    I’m very confused.

  15. Fantasy.

There are a lot of Fantasy people in the results, I see.

But, ironically, I’ve been meaning to read George R.R. Martin and Tolkien for a while. Along with trying to figure out what the heck is the hype with John Green. Maybe I’ll try and cram-read all three of them together this year. ..

  16. Fantasy, of course. I’ll only read comedy if it has a fantastical element (see Legend of the Sun Knight), romance makes me want to eat my own intestines, I’m sick of reading the same “Female Main Character Saves Dystopian Society from Corrupt Government/Imminent Destruction” book over and over again (because, besides names and minor setting changes, they really are all the same story).

Sci-Fi? …I could probably swing Sci-fi. It is, after all, the ‘fantasy’ of the future.

But really, Fantasy was the only logical choice. Now, maybe if ‘horror’, ‘adventure’, or ‘detective’ were on the list I’d have to question the outcome…

  17. Comedy? That’s got to be a joke. . .hahaha, get it? Because it’s comedy, and jokes. . .but really though, not me at all. Oh well!

  18. I got romance even though I’m not that romantic at all. But I do love doing romantic things with guys. So maybe i am romantic. <3 ๐Ÿ˜‰

  19. got sci-fi not me at all third time taking the test and they were all different Hmm weird. Though i have read both Veronica Roths books and i liked them. But i could never write something like that i dont think it and i definently dont write it. so got that one wrong figment.sorry

  20. Science fiction… Nah, I’m not interested in that kinda stuff. I did like Peeps by Scott Westerfield, though. If you haven’t read it, YOU NEED TO!!

  21. You live in a fantasy world that youโ€™ve carefully crafted with your vivid imagination. Youโ€™re drawn to the works of George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien. Check out fantasy stories and novels on Figment!

The funny thing is, I’ve never read any George R. R. Martin or J. R. R. Tolkien, but on the bright side, I like Peter V. Brett’s works ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. Oh, pfft – comedy?!
Unless you count gore or sexy-times as flowery as H.P. Lovecraft’s writing alongside world-building, lore-friendly video-game references and culture clash funny, then you shouldn’t be reading my stuff.
Here I was hoping to be Fantasy or Horror. :/

  23. Wow…romance! How ironic is that? Here I am trying to avoid romance novels and this quiz says that’s what I should be into! Figures ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. Fantasy? Um, I can’t say I like Fantasy that much. I do a lot of Fanfiction but that falls under fiction and not really Fantasy. I wouldn’t see myself reading or writing Fantasy either.

  25. Contemporary

You love John Green and Rainbow Rowell novels. Youโ€™re serious, realistic, and love to read books about true life.

It’s so true! Contemporary is totally my thing.

  26. Comedy? That’s kind of weird. I love comedy, no doubt about it, but it’s almost impossible for me to be humorous when I write. I’ve tried, too!

  27. Fantasy
You live in a fantasy world that youโ€™ve carefully crafted with your vivid imagination. Youโ€™re drawn to the works of George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien.

    This…is WHO I AM ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

  28. Contemporary? Books about real life??? THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF ME!!!! Give me fantasy any day >:(

    Stupid quiz… ):T
