Poem-A-Day Challenge: Day Four

Whoof, that last prompt was a doozy! Luckily, the tremendously talented Team Figment keeps the poetry punches coming: right hook, left uppercut, total knock out! You guys are on your way to the poetic heavyweight championship!

Remember, there are no restrictions on the poems you write in terms of length, meter, or rhyme. The only requirement is that you post your poem within 24 hours of each prompt’s announcement and that you tag it appropriately. Today’s tag will be: ThursdayPADC

Thursday’s prompt isn’t messing around. Check it:

Make a list of everything in your life that you don’t usually write about, then choose an item from the list and — you guessed it — write a poem about it.

Wham, bam, thank you, ma’am! Challenge accepted.

  1. What do you mean “Don’t usually write about?” Like. What most people wouldn’t write about? Because If I have to write about something I wouldn’t usually write about I would write about my parents fighting. But my mom and dad read my stuff! What do I do?

  2. so wait, does it have to be something we normally don’t write poetry about, or something we don’t write about in general
