Olympic Flash Fiction Contest

Well, Figgies, it’s time to plant your butt in front of the TV to watch as the world’s top athletes push themselves to their limits and go for the gold! In honor of the 2012 Olympic Summer Games, we’re hosting a flash fiction contest of epic proportions.

And in the Olympic spirit of international harmony, this contest is open to Figs all over the world!

To enter, all you have to do is write a story of 150 words or fewer from the perspective of one of the following:

  • Someone at the Opening Ceremony.
  • An Olympic athlete competing in the games.
  • A non-athlete in London this weekend.

Five winners will be chosen by the Figment editors to be featured on the Figment homepage. You have until Sunday, July 29 at 11:59 p.m. ET to tag your story OlympicFlash and be entered in the contest. Read the full rules and get writing!
