The Forsaken Contest Finalists

Alenna, the main character in Lisa M. Stasse’s novel The Forsaken, has been exiled to The Wheel after a government-mandated personality test determined that she has “a high capacity for rebellious behavior and brutal violence.” Inspired by The Forsaken, we challenged you to write a story about someone who committed a crime, someone accused of a crime they didn’t commit, or someone in prison.

You wrote and voted, and now we are pleased to announce the finalists of The Forsaken contest. Lisa M. Stasse will be choosing the winners, so cross your fingers for your fellow figs!

  1. Wow! Congratulations to all up there. It’s funny, several people there read my story and one might have said I deserved to win. I couldn’t get 87 hearts, much less 400. Good job and Good luck! 😀
