Beta Twitter Game

Rachel CohnElysia is a Beta—an experimental teenage clone. Created in a laboratory, she is a 16-year-old with no emotions, no soul, and no story. She remembers nothing, because there is nothing for her to remember. She was replicated from another teenage girl, who had to die in order for Elysia to exist.

Inspired by Elysia’s unusual creation, we’ll be tweeting out facts about real clones to give you the chance to win an ebook copy of Beta by Rachel Cohn.

Did You Know?

The word “clone” comes from the greek word for “twig” from the process where a new plant can be grown from a twig.

Clones are genetically identical individuals, which means identical twins are clones of each other.
