Cast a Spell: Weekend Flash Contest!

Witch & Wizard: The Kiss by James Patterson“Shut up, Byron,” I huff. I snap my fingers to work a little magic, and suddenly Byron is no longer standing in front of me. In his place, there’s a squeaking weasel. “I should just leave you like this—your true form.”

But I can never stay mad at Byron for long. I clap my hands, and he’s back.

Whit and Wisty have amazing magic skills. Whit is clairvoyant and he can move objects with his mind. Wisty can burst into flames—and turn her friends (like poor Byron) into animals.

  1. It feels like the prompt changed from when I read it and wrote my entry. . . or maybe not but I seriously did not see this prompt when I wrote my entry
