The Mamas & The Papas – California Dreamin’
California is the ultimate road trip destination. We’re definitely dreaming.

Tom Petty – Free Fallin’

Fleetwood Mac – Go Your Own Way

The Beach Boys – Sloop John B
Your trip might have some fraught moments, but Sloop John B is on the worst trip ever.

Gomez – Get Miles

Paul Simon – Graceland
After California, the second-best road trip destination. Who doesn’t want to visit the home of the King?

Steppenwolf – Born To Be Wild
Blast this song while the windows are rolled down and you’re driving the backroads.

Cee Lo Green – Forget You

Beastie Boys – No Sleep Till Brooklyn
A classic fist-pumper. Get into it.

Rusted Root – Send Me On My Way

Kansas – Carry On My Wayward Son – Anchorman Medley

Rascal Flatts – Life is a Highway
Yes it is.

The Proclaimers – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)
Is there anything more romantic than someone who would walk 1,000 miles for you? No. No, there isn’t.

Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe
What? You know all the words. We know you’re totally singing along.

Far East Movement – Like A G6
It’s impossible to listen to this song and not bust a car dance move. Just make sure to keep your hands of the wheel.

Prince – Little Red Corvette

Elastica – Connection

Willie Nelson – On The Road Again
Yes, we are.

  1. Open Road by Bryan Adams, The Road by Frank Turner, Raise Your Hands by Bon Jovi and You Won’t Ever Feel A Thing by The Script (because I always imagine that if they ever did a music video for it, it’d be a road trip. I don’t know why.)
