If You Find Me Short-Story Contest: Winners!

If You Find Me by Emily MurdochCarey Blackburn has spent her childhood living with her mom and baby sister in the woods. Imagine: no hot water or electricity, definitely no internet. So when Carey and her sister are rescued by their dad and taken to live with his family, Carey goes through a bit of a culture shock. It’s hard to get used to her new life.

Inspired by Carey’s journey in If You Find Me, by Emily Murdoch, we challenged you to write a story about someone who feels like a fish out of water. You wrote and voted, and then Figment editors judged the top ten most-hearted entries. We’re pleased to announce the winners!

Check out the winning entries below and be sure to congratulate your fellow Figs!
