Red Moon Short-Story Contest

Red Moon by Benjamin PercyEvery teenage girl thinks she’s different. When government agents kick down Claire Forrester’s front door and murder her parents, Claire realizes just how different she is.

Patrick Gamble was nothing special until the day he got on a plane and hours later stepped off it, the only passenger left alive, a hero.

  1. Is it like a thing that a person could enter two contests with the same story or is that bad?
I feel like this is a question that has been asked before, sorry. Thank you.

  2. Can I write a continuation of another story. Same characters, but a different situation? My characters would fit this prompt.

  3. I wanted to do a story on the romance between the son of a Nazi soldier and a girl from one of the concentration camps, the only thing is that I wanted to know if it was against the rules. I talk in it how horrible the concentration camps were… but I suppose it is talking against the Nazi’s in a way. Is that acceptable?

  4. I entered a story and it has not shown up among the entries yet, it has been about 24 hours sense I entered it. Did I do something wrong or does it just take a while?

    • Hey Amandas!

As long as your entry is:
      -Tagged properly
-Published (not saved as a draft)
-Created between the announcement and close of the contest
      You’re set! Pop-up or not.

  5. Hello!

What happens if you publish a story in a Contest, but you decide you don’t like it and you delete the story but publish ANOTHER story in the SAME Contest. Does it still count? Will the story be deleted? And are you able to make another story in a Contest if you deleted the other one?

    • There is only one entry per person. Even if the original entry is deleted or removed from the competition, a second entry may be subject to disqualification.

  6. probably a dumb question, but do they have to be people, or can they be animals or inanimate objects or something?
