Winners of the INK Haiku Contest!

Katie Greene is having a hard time adjusting to her new life in Japan. It’s hard to fit in at school when you don’t speak the language. But there is a bright spot: Tomohiro, the star of the school’s kendo team. Katie’s drawn to his art. She’s also a little scared of him. What’s the deal with his mysterious scar? And did she just see his drawings come to life?

Inspired by Ink by Amanda Sun, we challenged you to write a haiku about loneliness. You voted for your favorites, and Figment editors judged the top twenty most-hearted entries. Today, we’re pleased to announce the contest winners!

  1. Hi. I’m just curious as to how long it takes to get your book if you won a book. I’ve not gotten two books already, one from a giveaway I won like a month ago and the Ink Haiku contest. Is there an approximation as to how long it takes to receive the book?
